What is LAPIP?
LAPIP laser treatment is used to save a failing implant by eliminating inflammation in the gum tissue surrounding the implant. By reducing inflammation, healthy tissue and bone can begin to regenerate to help stabilize a failing implant.
What would I need LAPIP treatment?
For patients experiencing a failing dental implant, there are typically two options:
- Replace the implant or
- Treat the tissue around the failing implant
If you have advanced inflammation around a dental implant, we may recommend LAPIP treatment to save the implant and help restore your gum and bone health.
