What Some Of Our Patients Are Saying

Best dental care I have ever received out of seven dental offices I've used in my life. They are extremely patient and caring considering that I come in with anxiety and start crying the moment I sit in the chair. They make me feel relaxed and calm other dentists did not have such great bedside manner. One dentist I had got angry with me when I said the freezing didn't take yet and the drill hurt like the Dickens! I highly recommend this office. This visit I was mentally preparing for an extraction or a root canal but it turns out it was sinus pressure. Lol The visit before they filled my wisdom teeth. It was quick and they were kind and caring. My previous dentist wanted to remove them. Update: I've been going here for a couple of years since the earlier post. Dr. Engel is a fantastic dentist and her assistants are top notch. They are kind patient and efficient dental providers. They talk me through my anxiety which is much less now and even manage to make me laugh on occasion. I've referred three family members to her and both were much more happy at Fort Rouge than at their previous dental office.

A really great group of people! The front desk staff are very warm and welcoming. The Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants are very skilled and personable. The Dentists are highly professional and personable. They take the time to discuss your dental health/situation in a very detailed comprehensive manner with the obvious goal of tailoring your treatment to get the very best outcome for you. They sincerely care about your dental health. This very caring approach to my dental health is very much appreciated!!😀👍🏻

I have visited this office many times but today I walked in to a newly decorated and updated dental clinic!! The place looks spectacular—bright shiny and modern. Dr Boyko’s skill and the amazing staff he surrounds himself with makes even a root canal seem like a routine procedure—the same was true today. I have been impressed with this clinic since transferring here about 5 years ago. The staff the ‘state of the art’ equipment exceed any clinic I’ve visited in the past. Thanks to you all.

The staff was as welcoming as always and the technician who performed my cleaning dental services today Aaron extremely thorough and gentle with his use of cleaning instruments during my session as was Dr. Boyko during the examination process. I always find the receptionist staff to be extremely friendly. I also appreciate proactive notice of the value of a procedure to be performed at my next appointment for a cleaning.

Love my hygienist Rena but very sad my dentist is gone Dr Thode. I wish I would have been advised of his departure and Dr Ryan’s departure also . Always great smiles and happy people at this clinic. I now see Dr Boyko and have seen Dr Natalia both have been great! I feel they are not out just to get my money and the best thing is that I am never in pain when having a procedure. I recommend Fort Rouge Dental.

Well let’s not sugar coat it the dentist is the opposite of the spa for many. That said as someone who has a huge fear of dental work (thanks childhood trauma) this is the only place I will willingly go to. I found an amazing dentist at the age of 14 and found her again here - the hygienists are also so great as are the super friendly front desk staff. 10/10 for this anxiety riddled brain.

I appreciate the attention from the dentist who substituted for Dr. Boyko. I always find the receptionist staff to be extremely friendly. Great service from reception to dentist and check out. The staff all seem to care about the patients and are very friendly and courteous. You can trust Dr. Boyco to recommend the right treatment and not worry that it is just about the money. Dr. Engal and her staff are amazing! The hygienists are so thorough and take their time. The receptionists are so kind and thoughtful. Dr Boyko is the best dentist I’ve ever had. The entire staff are wonderful and make every visit comfortable and relaxing. I used to have high anxiety when having any kind of dental work done but at this office I’ve always felt that they are aware of my comfort level and take a lot of that anxiety away while I’m in their care !

Dr Daniel Boyko

General Dentist

Hi, I’m Dr. Dan! As a second generation dentist, a passion for dentistry is in my blood and has only increased as I embrace new technology. I’m definitely a bit of a dental geek, as I love how the latest in dental technology can solve problems for my patients. From CEREC same-day crowns to 3D x-rays or using a microscope, technology help makes my day even more enjoyable when we can make patients happy with smooth service. My biggest passion in dentistry is LANAP, which uses a laser to regrow bone and treat gum disease. It took many visits to the US to train in this highly technical treatment. Although, as the only LANAP practitioner in central Canada, it’s great to be able to tell patients we can do gum surgery with no incisions and no stitches, using only a laser. Seeing so many people overwhelmed with happiness from not having to under the knife makes all that advanced training worth it!

Away from dentistry, I’m an Aries who has been lucky enough to be married to the immensely patient Colleen for over 20 years. Together, we have two children. When I’m not not practicing, I enjoy cars, especially drag racing, although I can also be found tinkering with my aquarium.

Hi, I’m Dr. Krista Engel-Yeadon, but most of my patients (especially the kids!) call me Dr. Krista. I’m prairie-born and raised. I attended the University of Manitoba for dentistry, followed by a residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Although I work with patients of all ages, I especially love working with kids and setting them up for a lifetime of positives experiences at the dentist.

I’m a giant dental nerd; I can’t stop learning more about this wonderful field. I’m a mentor for CEREC (those cool same-day crowns, placed without the goop in your mouth!), plus a member of the Spear Study Club, which has allowed me to develop additional skills to help people with needs ranging from the most basic fillings to advanced reconstructive cases. Creating your ideal smile, whatever that may be is what makes me smile!

I’m a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. My blood is truly green, and I can’t deny that there may be photos circulating of someone who looks a little like me with a watermelon on their head. I’m married to Brad and we have two energetic kids. When I’m not looking after my one large and two small children, I’m a prairie girl at heart. Trading heels for boots, I like hiking, fishing, hunting and being near a lake with the family. I enjoy cooking and good wine, some of my favourite recipes have been traded with patients, so if you have a recipe you’d be willing to trade for my famous elk meatballs recipe, let me know!

Dr. Quinn Boyko was born and raised in Winnipeg and is proud to be returning home to continue his dental career after practicing in Ontario. a graduate of the University of Manitoba he completed both his undergraduate studies and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree locally. Throughout hi education, his dedication to excellence earned him recognition in multiple areas including prosthodontics, endodontics, oral medicine and operative dentistry.

As a third generation dentist, Dr Boyko values building lasting relationships with patients and providing personalized care in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. he is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while ensuring they feel comfortable every step of the way.

When he is not in clinic enjoys hiking, spending time at the cottage, playing hockey and working on cars.
